So we come to the main objective of word-of-mouth marketing, trust. Once a client or contact trusts you, closing a deal with them has become simple. You have changed the selling strategy from convincing them they need product, to simply finding the right product to fit their needs.

This is the place to be, being able to provide a service to your clients, even when it is a product; being seen in the eyes of your client as someone that is looking out for them and will not only provide the highest level of service, but will find creative solutions for them.

To keep this good will with the client, you must continue with the level of honesty and service you have been providing them. Initiate contact with them when there is a new product or service you feel would fit their needs. Also try to find existing products/services that would benefit them in a way they may not have thought of in the past.

So get out there and start farming not hunting. Be you client’s most valuable resource.
