Lemon- Lime Granita



Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 cups Water
  • 2 cupsFresh lemon juice
  • 2 cups Lime juice
  • 2 Mangos For Garnish.

Method:

To make the granita, have two bowls ready for the ice cream makers in the freezer. In a saucepan, combine water with the sugar and bring to a boil.

Using a citrus juicer, halve the lemons and limes, and juice. Whisk the juices together in a bowl. Combine the sugar syrup and the citrus juices together. Add to the ice cream machine and turn on. Let run for 30 minutes and garnish Mango slices or fold diced mango into granita.

Yield: 12 servings
